BNI 2016

The May bank holiday saw a number of the team at the 20th BNI scout competition at Hamlet Wood in Maidstone. The team enacted a cycling accident to allow the scout teams to treat them and be assessed on their first aid skills. They are very grateful to Roger Whittle and his team for organising a great weekend, and allowing them an outlet for their questionable acting skills.

While none of the performances were likely to attract the attention of the Oscar awards committee, they did learn that lycra on a groundsheet on an incline doesn’t provide enough friction to prevent you from sliding uncontrollably down hill, and that the ResusciAnne  currently wears a child’s tracksuit and cycling helmet size 8-10.

Next year, the West End. Or at least Downe campsite for a repeat performance.
